In a colonial-style atmosphere in
historic Petersham, located in the heart of the North
Quabbin region of central Massachusetts, is
a small award
winning Alpaca farm
where the pleasures of life soothes the very soul. Here,
Colonial Hill Alpaca's graze serenely in a meadow on a beautiful New
England day. Life doesn't get any better than this!
As a member of AOBA (Alpaca Owners and Breeders
Association) since 2003, Colonial Hill Alpaca Farm offers a rich
selection of champion male and female Alpacas for sale
and breeding.
Our Huacaya are raised to be
top quality breed stock known for
their outstanding quality fleece, and our Suri's are raised
for their spinning fleece. All of the alpaca's are
shorn each spring and this high quality award winning
fiber goes to the North American AOBA co-operative
to produce alpaca products and gifts such as yarn,
sweaters, scarves, hats, gloves, capes, shawls, socks,
teddy bears, ponies and other wonderful alpaca apparel.
Colonial Hill Alpaca Farm
also has a wonderfully unique Alpaca
Gift Store. For those who enjoy elegant apparel, we
have a full line of men's, women's and children's alpaca
apparel and gifts.

We invite you to stop by the store when
you are in the
North Quabbin
region. The gift store is normally open Wednesday
through Saturday 11 am -5 pm and Sunday from noon to 5 pm, however sometimes we
my be away at alpaca shows or events, so it is always
best to call ahead.

If you are interested in purchasing alpaca's, we provide a
great selection of outstanding animals for sale as well as
breeding stock. We provide professional business advice
and educational assistance for those that
want to embrace a joyful lifestyle, changed by entering
the alpaca business.
For those who are traveling
and just want an enjoyable weekend in the country with the alpaca's, we
offer comfortable overnight
accommodations in our Colonial Style Bed
and Breakfast. Our large post and beam Colonial style home, built in 1742,
offers three unique guest rooms all with private baths.
For
our guests an upscale Continental breakfast is served at the time
your request.
